Installation pricing
A quote that fits your home and your plans.
A porch display and a multi-level roofline involve different work. We quote your project around the areas you want decorated, access, and the lights you choose—then confirm the price before installation.
The size and shape of your display.
Start with the parts of your home you want to highlight. A front entrance, a roofline, and several small trees each involve different layouts. You can request a focused display or ask about several areas together; you do not need to decorate the whole property.
Installation height and access.
The height of the work, roofline details, ground conditions, and access to the installation areas affect the scope. Tell us your property height if you know it. We may ask for ground-level photos during follow-up to understand the setup before preparing your quote.
Using your own lights.
If you already have outdoor-rated lights, we can plan around them. Your quote covers installation and any supplies agreed for the job. Let us know what you have so we can review the strands, clips, cords, and power access together.
Having us supply the lights.
We can supply lights for an additional charge. We’ll discuss the look you want, confirm the lights and supplies, and include those charges in your quote. We also clarify the supply arrangement and what happens to those lights after the season before you approve the project.
Adding seasonal takedown.
Choose whether to include takedown when requesting your quote. Removal is quoted as part of the project when requested, rather than assumed to be included with installation. Discuss your preferred removal timing along with the installation plan.
Compare quotes for the same work.
When reviewing lighting quotes, compare the decorated areas, lights and supplies, installation, and removal. Clarify whether any maintenance or storage is included in each proposal. For your PDX Winter Lights project, rely on the specific scope and charges agreed in your quote.
Get started without a measurement list.
Your name, email, and ZIP are enough to start the conversation. If you have a budget or a particular date in mind, add it to the optional project details. We’ll follow up by email to discuss the plan; submitting a request does not book an appointment or require payment.
